Ambitious

On 25 hectares of land, products are specially grown for our hand-tied bouquets. A wide range that allows us to meet our customers' wishes and specifications for our bouquets. We grow exactly to the demand of our own production, which allows us to control the cost price and keep it lower. Our strategy of producing and sending in bouquets is extended to year-round growing.

Craftsmanship

We grow flowers that exactly match our price-quality ratio and choose small-scale crops that we produce year-round. With minimal wastage and proper quality control, we ensure continuous quality. Our cultivation techniques are based on 20 years of African craftsmanship.

Inventive

We aspire to a low carbon footprint and therefore choose products suitable for sea transport. We also use solar energy for cooling our crops before they are transported.

Fun

As in the Netherlands, our team in Kenya is central. We provide a permanent team who are committed and enjoy their work. A committed employee who knows what we produce flowers for and therefore has our end users' best interests at heart.

Partners

We have been working with established supply chain partners in Europe for many years for various mono cultures such as roses, germini and chrysanthemums. We also have
intensive partnerships. Together with our customer, we set up complementary small-scale products for sustainable bouquets in Kenya. Bouquets that match our core values and those of our customers.

Quality is the pride of our craftsmanship.

Lairagwan Primary School, Jua Kali, Nanyuki, Kenya, 700+ pupils, ages 2-14.

We supply the school with potatoes from our Social Project which is also used for proper crop rotation. But also regularly supply the school's kitchen with courgettes. Students mainly go to school to get food as there is no/short food at home. In addition to production influences which we can put to good use, we assisted in installation of borehole and water tank, built toilets and cookers but the pupils also walk in clothes from the Netherlands.

Shirt and potato support

Supporting local activities

Help set up a local rapid response team (Mount Kenya Community Patrol). By helping the police with rapid transport and information from its members on security issues in the area. We pay a monthly fee to cover the cost of the project

But also supporting and setting up the 'keep your neighbourhood clean' project. Local youths aged 6 to 12 are encouraged to pick Taka Taka (plastic, paper, bottles, etc.) from the neighbourhood and streets. As a reward, participants receive shoes, T-shirts and food (potatoes), among other things. Awareness project.

CERTIFICATES

Corporate social responsibility requires taking on future-proof responsibilities. That is why we like to make sustainable choices during our cultivation and production process. Our organisation complies with several sustainability labels and we are challenging ourselves to achieve the highest possible. This way, we keep the climate impact of our organisation as small as possible together with our suppliers and customers.
