Your role

As a Junior Business Controller/Administrative Assistant, you will become part of a compact, committed team of four colleagues. You will have the opportunity to develop yourself in both financial administration and in making analyses that contribute to better decisions and cost savings.

We do not expect you to already know everything - what is more important is that you are curious, know how to make connections and show initiative. We will gladly support you with guidance, courses and training.

What will you do?

- Processing and controlling financial records (creditors, debtors, bank)
- Preparation of VAT and ICP declarations
- Participate in monthly and year-end closures
- Delivering insights for more efficient processes and potential cost savings
- Preparation of management information and reports (in Excel or Power BI)
- Learning to work with our ERP software Axerrio (we'll help you get started)
- (In time) Thinking about staff deployment, working hours and relevant laws and regulations

What do you bring?

- Completed MBO+/HBO education in a financial or administrative field
- Some experience in preparing or filing VAT and CPI returns
- Experience with Excel is a must; experience with Power BI is an advantage
- Familiarity with accounting software such as iMUIS, Exact or similar
- Interest in laws and regulations surrounding labour (advantage, not a requirement)
- You are flexible, independent and like to think one step ahead
- You have an eye for detail, but also see the bigger picture
- You want to learn, develop yourself and dare to take responsibility
